The Outsider’s Fondation is a non-profit organization based in Montréal dedicated to recognizing the perseverance, achievements, and contributions of immigrants in Québec.

Our History
1. WHERE IT STARTED
The idea behind The Outsider’s Fondation emerged from a simple observation: many immigrants contribute profoundly to their communities, yet their efforts often remain invisible.
Behind every migration story there are years of adaptation, uncertainty, perseverance, and ambition. These journeys shape individuals who enrich the social, cultural, and economic life of Québec, but recognition for this reality is rare.
The foundation was created to change that.
2. WHY IT MATTERS
Migration is frequently discussed in terms of policy, economics, or integration challenges. Far less attention is given to the individuals who navigate these transitions and build meaningful lives in a new society.
The Outsider’s Fondation believes that recognizing these paths is essential.
